Above the Influence
This site and many of the Above the Influence ads that you see were originally created as a part of the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign, a program of the Office of National Drug Control Policy. Above the Influence is now a program of the non-profit Partnership for Drug-Free Kids. The campaign was, and continues to be inspired by what teens have told us about their lives, and how they deal with the influences that shape their decisions. CADCA
CADCA(Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America) is a membership organization of over 5000 anti-drug coalitions, each working to make their community safe, healthy, and drug-free.

Catawba Mental Health (SCDMH)
The S.C. Department of Mental Health gives priority to adults, children, and their families affected by serious mental illnesses and significant emotional disorders. We are committed to eliminating stigma and promoting the philosophy of recovery, to achieving our goals in collaboration with all stakeholders, and to assuring the highest quality of culturally competent services possible.

DAODAS
The South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services (DAODAS) is the cabinet-level agency charged with ensuring the provision of quality services to prevent or reduce the negative consequences of substance use and addictions.

Keystone Substance Abuse Services
Keystone was established in 1969 as a private, not-for-profit organization that serves as the Act 301 (1973) substance abuse authority in York County, South Carolina. Keystone offers internationally accredited and licensed services – including education, prevention and treatment (both outpatient and inpatient) — to meet the needs of individuals, families, and groups in York County and surrounding areas experiencing alcohol and/or drug related problems.

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

Netsmartz.org
NetSmartz Workshop is an interactive, educational program of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) that provides age-appropriate resources to help teach children how to be safer on- and offline. The program is designed for children ages 5-17, parents and guardians, educators, and law enforcement. With resources such as videos, games, activity cards, and presentations, NetSmartz entertains while it educates.

NIDA for Teens
A teen resource brought to you by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), National Institutes of Health (NIH). Created for middle and high school students and their teachers, this website provides accurate and timely information for use in and out of the classroom. NIDA for Teens is organized to offer students a range of educational experiences as they learn facts about drugs and neuroscience, and to support educators and parents as they facilitate student learning.

SAMHSA
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. SAMHSA’s mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America’s communities.

The Blunt Truth
The Blunt Truth is an initiative started by DAODAS to spark a discussion in South Carolina about marijuana, the impact of its legalization in other states, and how we can prepare our youth and citizens to make smart choices about its use. The Blunt Truth is funded through the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant of the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
